I’ve been working on a little vertical tasting of high age Glenfarclas bottlings. The youngest will be a 1980 Family Cask (around 27 years old), and we’ll be working our way through the 1970’s, 1960’s and 1950’s. The highlight will be a really old one, nearly 60 years old.
In the meantime there’s also the special Glenfarclas 175th Anniversary Chairman’s Reserve, a vatting of four casks with a combined age of exactly 175 years.
Stay tuned for a couple of gems!
