Lagavulin 10 Year Old
Lagavulin 10 Years is a new travel retail exclusive from Lagavulin distillery. It is composed with rejuvenated casks and ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 43% ABV.
The label now has some keywords to describe the taste: smooth, intense, smoky and warming. From what I’ve heard its profile would be closer to the 16 Years than to the 8 Years, I hope to try it soon.

Glenmorangie Rare Cask 1784
Glenmorangie has released a 16 years old PX finished single malt in a new distillery-exclusive series called Rare Cask. Well, new-ish, as they’ve released similar Rare Casks as airport exclusives for instance.
The first release Glenmorangie Cask 1784 has been aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon and was finished in Pedro Ximénez butts. A total of 636 bottles are available at the distillery shop, but £ 650 seems a very high price to me.
In the end there will be four whiskies in this series. The next one, which could be tjhe 21 years old Glenmorangie Cask 237, will come later this year.
Littlemill 29 Year Old
Littlemill is expanding its (premium) range with a Littlemill 29 Year Old. Bottled at 47.3% ABV, only 600 bottles are available.
